WooCommerce: member benefits at checkout

A store-specific API key connects the store to the correct business. Set the coupon, discount and eligible products in WooCommerce. Customers verify Travel Lapland membership with an email code and use the same email at checkout. A discount is granted only after successful verification.

1. Join as a partner and wait for approval. Your business and a service must be in the catalogue.
2. Request a store-specific API key from Travel Lapland. Each store needs its own key.
3. Download and install the plugin in WordPress: Plugins → Add new → Upload plugin. Activate it.
4. Open WooCommerce → Travel Lapland. Enter the key and select Save and test connection.
5. Create a coupon. Choose a percentage or fixed product discount, select at least one product and enable Travel Lapland member benefit. Save.
6. Administration links the benefit to a Travel Lapland service and publishes it. Test your cart, checkout and payment methods before opening the campaign.

Requires WordPress 6.5+, WooCommerce 9.8+, PHP 8.1+, OpenSSL and HTTPS. WordPress scheduled tasks must work. Custom checkouts and express payments need separate testing.

Bókun: activate per partner

Add dedicated Bókun API keys under API connections and purchases in the partner portal. Test the connection and request approval. Under Bókun bookings and campaigns, map the product ID, seller’s terms and payment service hosts. For a campaign, also enter the Bókun template ID and code. The template must not have a shared usage limit; the app creates a single-use code per booking. Set product and date restrictions in Bókun. This version supports dated activities with a meeting point, without transfers, extras, group tickets or combo products. The payment provider must support REDIRECT checkout. Other products retain the existing booking service. Test the full flow in Bókun’s test environment using an administrator-selected test account before production activation. The API needs product, availability, checkout and booking-read access, plus promo-code read and create access for campaigns. Do not email secret keys.

Automatic purchases in My trip

The planned import matches new purchases to an existing Travel Lapland account when the purchase email matches the verified account email. No coupon is needed. It requires an approved, working API connection and activation of the new purchase import. Downloadable plugin 1.0.0 includes member benefits; it does not import purchases yet.
