Service directory and the seller’s responsibility Travel Lapland is a service directory operated by Yrityspalvelu Kunnari. Every purchase of a listed travel service or product is made directly between the customer and the selling business. Yrityspalvelu Kunnari is not a party to that sale, its seller or a tour operator. Check the seller in the booking service: the organiser and the final seller may be different businesses. The seller is responsible for its service, prices, availability, terms, payment, safety and delivery. Contact the seller directly about the service, bookings, changes, cancellations, refunds or complaints. Yrityspalvelu Kunnari does not handle these matters on the seller’s behalf. Checking information and booking Information comes from businesses and public sources. Descriptions and translations may use AI. Yrityspalvelu Kunnari does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or currency of directory information and is not liable for errors or omissions to the extent permitted by law. Confirm the price, availability, terms and other essential details with the seller before purchasing. Bookings and payments take place in the seller’s booking service or online shop. Travel Lapland does not collect payment for travel services or charge booking commissions. Bókun is a booking system; the booking identifies the seller. Cancellations are governed by the seller’s terms and applicable law. Leisure services booked for a specific date generally do not carry a 14-day distance-selling withdrawal right. Advertising and use of the service Businesses can list their details, services and events free of charge. Paid advertising is a separate business-to-business service sold by Yrityspalvelu Kunnari and billed weekly under the terms below. Yrityspalvelu Kunnari is responsible for the technical operation and delivery of agreed advertising under the advertising terms below. The directory disclaimer does not remove this responsibility. Paid placements are labelled as advertising and may affect listing order. Popularity reflects hearts from devices that consented to statistics, not verified customer reviews. Do not disrupt the service, use it unlawfully or publish material without permission. Weather, timetables and local advice may change. Check safety-critical information with the authorities or provider. In an emergency, call 112. External services have their own terms and privacy practices. Contact and changes to terms Contact the operator below about directory errors, Travel Lapland’s operation or advertising you purchased. These terms do not limit mandatory legal liability or consumer rights. Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and the Consumer Disputes Board assist with disputes within their remit. New terms do not retrospectively change existing purchase or advertising contracts. Sign in with a one-time code sent to your verified email. A phone number is optional. Creating an account is not marketing consent. Protect your email and device. A My trip entry does not make a booking or confirm payment. Entries, notes and tickets you add manually stay on this device. Purchases received from sellers and Lapio plans saved to your account are available on other devices after sign-in. Keep original booking confirmations. Losing your device or deleting the app or browser data may erase local records. Device backup settings may apply to local files. Reminders depend on the device and permissions; do not rely on them alone for important deadlines. Enter times in Finnish local time. When a time repeats at the autumn clock change, the first occurrence is used. Each member benefit states its conditions and validity; its seller handles redemption. Membership does not guarantee continuous or particular benefits. Choose event, aurora and offer notifications separately. Offers are optional marketing; benefits do not require them. Aurora alerts do not guarantee sightings. Notifications may arrive late or not at all. Delete your account in settings. This does not cancel bookings with sellers. Deletion also clears trips and tickets on this device; clear other devices separately. Local trip data can also be cleared on its own. Signing out cancels device reminders; you can set them again after signing in. Lapio — AI assistant. Lapio helps plan trips using Travel Lapland service information. Answers may contain errors or omissions. Suggested times use Finnish time; availability, opening hours and transfer times are unverified. Check these and prices with the seller before buying. A plan is not a booking. You buy each service separately, directly from the business selling it. Yrityspalvelu Kunnari is not a party to these purchases and is not responsible for the accuracy of providers’ information. Ads are labelled; a Lapio suggestion does not guarantee quality or availability. Advertising sold to partners is a separate prepaid service whose agreed operation is the responsibility of Yrityspalvelu Kunnari. Lapio is an AI-generated character, not a human local expert. AI, sources and external services (2 October 2026) Service descriptions and translations were prepared with AI assistance from providers’ public pages and may contain errors. Use each product’s source link to verify the original information. AI-generated or edited images are labelled next to the image. The home and splash screen winter landscape is an AI-generated illustration, not a photograph of a specific destination. Possible AI use in images sourced from providers has not been verified. Service search uses AI to compare text meaning and rank results. If unavailable, a labelled keyword search is used. Search is not a personalised safety or health assessment or booking confirmation. Ask Locals answers come from approved local respondents, not an automatic AI assistant. Yrityspalvelu Kunnari is responsible for Travel Lapland’s content. Report errors or missing AI labels to info@travellapland.fi. The seller confirms prices, terms and availability. External booking services have their own terms and privacy practices. A company or operator named on a product card is not always the final seller in reseller catalogues. Verify your contracting party before ordering. AI labels do not remove Travel Lapland’s responsibility for its own content or mandatory consumer rights. External sites may use their own AI tools. Embedded booking forms load only after you choose to load them; ordinary links open an external page. Do not enter personal information or booking references in search. Ask Locals Help visitors fairly. Replies solely promoting your own businesses are not allowed. Where examples are useful, you may mention services from any partner listed on Travel Lapland. Disclose your connection when recommending your own business or employer. Administrators review answers and may suspend responder access for rule violations. Online store member benefits A partner benefit may require a Travel Lapland account and verification of its email in the store. Use the same email for the order. The seller sets the discount, eligible products, validity and other conditions. The final price is shown at checkout. If verification fails, retry or remove the coupon and continue without the benefit. Travel Lapland provides membership verification and published benefit information. The sale is always between the customer and seller; Yrityspalvelu Kunnari is not a party to that sale. The seller is responsible for product information, discounts, payments, delivery and complaints. New purchases from connected partners can appear in an existing Travel Lapland account when the purchase email matches the verified account email, with or without a coupon. Import starts when the connection is activated. Updates may be delayed or unavailable due to connection or permission failures. Always check dates, payments and changes in the seller’s confirmation. Removing an item from My trip does not cancel the purchase. Sales, payments, changes, cancellations and refunds remain between the customer and seller. Yrityspalvelu Kunnari is not the seller of the travel service or a party to its sale. Paid advertising space is a separate service. Bókun bookings in Travel Lapland The booking form requires sign-in, and membership is checked before applying a member benefit. Prices, availability and questions come from the seller’s Bókun system. Before booking, you accept the seller’s booking and cancellation terms and the obligation to pay. Enter card details only in the seller’s payment service. An interrupted payment redirect neither confirms nor cancels a booking; check My trip and contact the seller if necessary. Do not repeat a booking whose outcome is unclear. Arrivals and itinerary sharing Train and route information consists of scheduled, estimated or actual times supplied by the source. The update time is shown; offline information is not live. Check changes with the operator. Adding or sharing a trip does not buy a ticket or confirm a booking. Nearby search shows straight-line distances; weekly opening hours exclude special dates, and available accessibility information does not guarantee suitability. Transport information and tickets Travel Lapland is an independent directory and planning tool. Displaying transport data does not imply partnership, representation or endorsement by a source or operator. Buy train and flight tickets from the seller. Transport, payments, changes, cancellations and compensation requests are handled with the seller or operator under their terms; Yrityspalvelu Kunnari is not a party to the transport contract. A My trip entry, offline plan or booking reference does not replace a ticket accepted by the operator. Boards may show scheduled, estimated or actual times. Information and coverage may be incomplete, change or become unavailable. Check travel-day changes with the operator and station or airport displays. Travel Lapland does not guarantee source accuracy or uninterrupted availability. Your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected. Source names are attribution. Shared trips, suggestions and warnings Only the title, date, time and location of proposals you choose are shared with a trip group. Private tickets and booking references are not shared. Day ideas use listed service information; confirm accessibility, price and availability with the seller. Weather warnings are filtered using the destination centre and may not cover the whole municipality or your route. Flight and weather alerts may be delayed or not delivered. Check the original source. Offline information cannot update without a connection; reopening or signing in to the web app may require connectivity. Download a separate itinerary before losing your connection. Responsible tourism Respect nature, local residents and other people’s property. Do not enter private yards, cultivated fields or buildings without permission. Everyman’s rights do not permit disturbing the peace of a home. Follow marked trails, signs and protected-area rules. Avoid disturbance, excessive noise, littering and damage to plants. Take all rubbish away. Do not disturb wildlife or nests. Keep pets under control and follow leash rules. You must be authorised to represent the business and provide the content for publication. Confirm your email and application using the email we send. Our team reviews and separately approves the import. AI may help collect information from your website; information and destination assignments are reviewed. The business is responsible for its information. Sales, bookings, payments and complaints are between the customer and service provider. Travel Lapland / Yrityspalvelu Kunnari operates a catalogue, is not a party to these transactions and does not guarantee provider information. Request corrections or removal through the Partners contact form. API connections, campaigns and My trip (5 October 2026) Free partnership and catalogue listings do not require an API connection or advertising purchase. Member discount campaigns and automatic purchase import require a working, approved API connection. Partners are responsible for API access, product mappings, discount terms and informing their customers. Destination branding A municipality, tourism area or destination can use its own logo and brand colours, including in its service views. The scope, implementation, launch and any price are agreed separately with Travel Lapland’s operator, Yrityspalvelu Kunnari, before launch. The party supplying the materials is responsible for having permission to provide the logo and other brand materials for the agreed use. Branding does not change the seller of the services or the seller’s responsibilities. Free catalogue participation does not require buying branding or advertising. Contact: info@travellapland.fi. Partner enquiries and removal requests Partners brings together business guidance, applications, advertising and contact. The directory presents providers listed in the catalogue. Listing or showing a logo does not itself imply a partnership agreement or endorsement. A business representative may request corrections, removal of one service, or removal of the business and its services using the contact form. Our team verifies authority and handles active advertising reservations before removal. The form does not remove records automatically. Catalogue removal does not erase records needed for contracts, payments, accounting or legal claims. Personal data requests follow the privacy notice. Advertising terms (ads-2026-10-15-weekly) Advertising is sold by Yrityspalvelu Kunnari, business ID 2730057-2. Book named destinations, placements and calendar weeks, Monday to Sunday in Finnish time. Your business and at least one service must be listed. Areas and prices are shown before ordering. Splash reaches all areas. Advertising is charged weekly. The first booked week is paid when reserving; other selected weeks are charged to the saved payment method when they begin. By ordering you authorise these weekly charges. Weekly price, VAT and estimated campaign total are shown before purchase. Unselected weeks are not charged. A discount code applies to the first charge. An unpaid initial reservation expires after 40 minutes. If payment needs authentication, open the invoice in Orders and payments in your dashboard. Ads require approval and verified payment for the relevant week. Pause or stop visibility immediately or at the end of the current week. The current billing period remains payable in full even when visibility stops immediately. The next period will not be charged. Pausing does not extend booked dates; future unpaid placements are released. Resuming requires available capacity and may charge the newly started week in full. The campaign ends after its final selected week. Business and destination branding packages are billed for 12 months at a time and renew annually. The AI update package is billed monthly. Package use or visibility can also stop immediately or at the end of the paid period; the current period remains payable in full. Stopping or pausing prevents renewal. Resuming within the paid period does not charge that period again and restores renewal. An expired package requires a new order. Stopping or rejection does not trigger an automatic refund. Partners and destinations can submit a refund request with reasons in their dashboard. Our team reviews it and records the decision; approved refunds are made by an administrator. Yrityspalvelu Kunnari is responsible for agreed technical delivery. Faults are resolved through correction, replacement visibility or an agreed refund. This process does not limit statutory rights or previously agreed refund rights. Contact info@travellapland.fi. Up to five businesses rotate per placement. Impressions, clicks and sales are not guaranteed. Commercial push messages require consent and are limited to one per device per week. Ads are labelled. Advertisers are responsible for rights to their material, accurate claims and checking AI translations. Traveller purchases are directly between the traveller and provider; Travel Lapland is not their seller.
